Commerce has become a CEO level topic for all major brands. The reason? The challenges over the last 5 years have led to eroding margins, digitally native brands (collectively) stealing material levels of share, and the redefinition of the retail model they compete within. Yet, too often commerce teams struggle to get the funding needed for their larger transformation efforts, while others have yet to begin developing those plans.
