Here's to 25 years of dedication, passion and incredible contributions! Congratulations to Lead Store Associate Jackie from our Dwight, IL division on this remarkable milestone. Your hard work and commitment is inspiring ✨
I recently made a mistake when celebrating a great month in our company.
We blew away our goal and I wanted to recognize our team.
Instead of just congratulating our team for their great accomplishment, I threw in the dreaded "but" at the end of it.
"but, next month will most likely be much different."
There was no need for me to do this.
I intended to shield them from a possible letdown the following month since we always have a strong January.
The "but" was not necessary at that time (and probably not at all).
Celebrate your wins.
Recognize the success of your team - the other stuff can wait.
A well-informed team already knows of the challenges that may lie ahead and is prepared to handle them.
Let celebrating your wins stand on its own.
Do not dilute what your team accomplished.
Interestingly, February came and they beat our target for that month as well.....and did it again in March.
Not often do I get goose pimples at an Award Ceremony, especially overseas, but today I did.
The ceremony for Time Dealer of the Year, showcased so many exceptional dealers. Not their day to day performance, which is a given to make the final short list, but what they do for their communities, their staff, their customers and the industry.
To hear the receiving speech from Rita Case, was inspiring. I literally had goose pimples. What a woman, what an industry, what an inspiration to grow with our industry staff and people. Never has supporting and training our people been so clear as to what positive results can be achieved.
I recently heard something about celebrating victories. Celebrating the small wins are important to motivate yourself to continue and to realize that you are capable of doing hard things. On the other side of that, making sure that you are not celebrating the same small victory forever is also important to maintain that growth. Keep raising your own bar and setting new standards and keep celebrating new small victories.
The memories are endless and only matched by the lessons learned. My teams in Lubbock, Amarillo and Clovis are the reason to celebrate these 4 years. You guys make the communities you serve even better. You provide care for so many beautiful souls.
To celebrate these four years. Here are some lessons learned:
1. Most hard decisions are made easier when wearing adorable slippers. My favorite office nickname to date is slippers.
2- When encountering an intense situation don’t handle it in isolation. My team has great ideas, I just have to be intentional at asking good questions. If you feel like you are over-communicating. You are probably just now communicating enough.
3- Plan for fun and always have a pulse on your energy as a leader. I can be intense and I know that about myself so I schedule fun with my team. That looks different everyday and from team to team but that is really where I get to learn about them and they are the most important thing.
4- Protect the culture. It is the foundation of who we are and how we thrive.
Here’s to the next year! The best is to come!
From now until the end of 2023 we will be showcasing a member of our team and how they see themselves fitting within our values. What does it take to be a member of our team? Find out: https://lnkd.in/gpFq3dxK

🎉 Today marks a special milestone as we celebrate Foley, Incorporated's one-year Go-Live anniversary! 🎉
A huge shoutout to Danielle Papenberg, Director of Organizational Development at Foley, Inc., for her outstanding leadership and dedication throughout this journey!
Highlighting our recently released Journey to Success business case study, Danielle remarks, "We’re all working with Caterpillar. We’re all dealerships. We’re selling the same thing. But the inner workings of each organization are important. Even though we have so many similarities, our processes and culture can be completely different, and that’s an essential item to consider in the process."
Here's to a year of growth, collaboration, and success. Cheers to many more achievements ahead! 🚀

Some dates are always special such as today, the date when we launched Silver Talkies Club six years ago in 2018, based on the inputs from attendees of our events. They wanted to meet more often, know their co-participants better and have more fun and engaging opportunities. Hence Silver Talkies Club was born in a time and age when active ageing, loneliness and isolation among older adults were not spoken about or discussed much in our country. I was in fact told by many peers that I was playing in a small niche field. Fast forward to 2024, almost every new player in the senior care space is looking at addressing similar issues with similar models.
Did we start too early or did they start too late? I think it is immaterial for as they say that all's well that ends well. What is most heartening for me is to note that in the pic below all the people who became members in 2018 are still members in 2024, with the exception of one member whom we lost a few months ago. Six years of relationship still doing strong! So we must be doing something right:)
Cheers to healthy ageing!

Brand and Marketing Strategist | Brand Builder | I help companies accelerate revenue growth connecting customers to shared brand values from the inside out.
Ask any sales or marketing professional…
Launching new products and building new territories is not easy.
Over a year ago my husband, Dean Peaple , joined this company to launch a new division of window coverings.
Through operations and production challenges, changes in leadership and the minimal marketing support common with ‘startups’ - my husband never gave up!
I have watched him be tenacious and creative, using common sense, guerilla tactics, and teamwork- always finding a way.
I know the road is long, - and I admire my husbands patience and perseverance.
When you work hard and see a reward with a Win like this- you have to celebrate!
Most of us are so busy doing the work we do- we forget to take time to celebrate the wins.
It’s as easy as 123…
1. Take a moment to reflect on your wins
2. Be proud of your accomplishments,
3. Share your gratitude with those that helped you achieve your goals.
Celebrate the Wins!
Congrats! Here's to many more years of success! ✨
