Loads of marketing gimmicks have resonated with the audiences (Indian). From their taglines to their brand ambassadors, product positioning, and MVPs (Most Viable Prices). Here are a few great examples: Boost - Boost is the secret of my energy - Sachin Pepsi - De Ghumake Jiyo Khiladi wahe-wahe - Famous Cricketers & their famous shots Prestige - Jo Biwi se kare pyaar, wo prestige se kaise kare inkar - Abhishek & Aishwarya Rai However, there have been successful ads and brands without celebrities endorsing it. For example, Remember those fevicol ads: No famous people, no show shaa, but the sheer brilliance of writing, music, and execution, I still hum the “sharma ki dulhan jo byah ke aayi sang me do seater sofa le aayi.” And trust me, if you are from that generation, you are also singing it instead of reading it. Today, we see various brands hoarding over famous influencers and celebrities to get more reach and more eyeballs, which is not wrong; of course, having a familiar face adds a tangibility to your products; however, is it necessary for every product? Excited to share my experience as a producer for Pythia’s July 2024 campaign! Thank you to Reed Keenan for having me on and congrats to him and Shile Yang for the phenomenal work. Bringing this project to life was a true testament to creative collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic marketing. From navigating budget restraints to reimagining the production scale, our team worked tirelessly to deliver a campaign that elevated the Pythia brand. This comprehensive content package included: • A 30-second commercial showcasing the brand’s lifestyle and aesthetic. • Production UGC done by crew reposted to Pythia’s Instagram story, taking customers behind-the-scenes and promoting brand loyalty. • A focus on influencer marketing, partnering with creators whose platforms connect deeply with their audiences to maximize exposure. We crafted this campaign on a realistic budget while ensuring quality by assembling a skeleton crew, sourcing local talent, and utilizing accessible locations. The goal was clear: develop targeted, compelling content that doesn’t just promote a product but builds a lifestyle narrative around the brand. This project reminded me of the power of adaptability and creative storytelling in marketing. Whether it’s launching a new collection or tackling unsold inventory, the right messaging and content strategy can drive real impact.
