Celebrating One Year at Luminis Health! As I reflect on my first year as Vice President of Community Relations & Public Policy at Luminis Health, I’m grateful for the growth and learning that has taken place. Here are three key areas where I’ve seen significant development: Strategic Leadership: Over the past year, I’ve honed my ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with our organization’s mission. My advice to others? Embrace challenges as opportunities to learn and lead with purpose. Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with community members, partners, and colleagues has been essential. Active listening, empathy, and collaboration have been my guiding principles. Remember, success is often a team effort! Adaptability: The healthcare landscape is ever-changing. I’ve learned to adapt quickly, stay informed, and pivot when necessary. My advice? Be open to change, stay curious, and never stop learning. Here’s to another year of growth, impact, and making a difference! #LuminisHealth #LeadershipDevelopment #AnniversaryReflections

I had a great discussion with OPEN MINDS Circle last week about how we launched same day access services at Diversus Health. Making same day access services more widely accessible is a huge asset for communities across the country. A few key takeaways from my discussion with time with OPEN MINDS Circle included: -The importance of setting realistic new service timelines and goals -Why frontline staff should always be included in decision-making and how to prevent staff fatigue -The importance of aligning necessary resources when launching a new service line and why it’s okay to delay a project if the company is not ready. If you didn’t have a chance to tune in and are an OPEN MINDS Circle Elite member, watch the recording here:

Jacqueline Krieger, B2’s longest-tenured teammate, continues sharing her perspective and experience on the importance of presence. In part two, Jackie tells us why being present listeners is vital to collaboration and creativity. Listening: The Foundation of Presence When creating a healthcare PR campaign for patient communities, one principle is essential: listening. Listening is the quintessential form of presence. It signifies a genuine commitment to valuing a community's insights and ideas, fostering open dialogue, and empowering individuals to share their perspectives. This practice not only showcases the value of collaboration but also serves as an authentic means for a company to be fully present and responsive to a patient community. With this foundation, we can begin to ideate and create with a genuine focus on human needs. Without this step, all too often company imperatives overshadow and the potential for impact is diluted significantly or lost. #Presence #ScienceAndSociety #2BB2
