Last week I posted a video where I was testing out Alteryx Designer Cloud and the response was pretty cool! So one night I sat down and dove deeper into the offering of Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC) and recorded that too. On this video we take a brand new Snowflake instance and create a connection in AAC, we pull 1M records over to see how Designer Cloud handles it (follow up thought from last week) , and then push it right back to Snowflake! It's starting to get me thinking about all the ways I can use ACC as a low code cloud pipeline. I know that these same pipes can be created in Snowflake but it would have taken me a little longer, but what about someone with little to no Snowflake experience? AAC I think is a great enabler for those trying to dip their tows into the world of Cloud Data Engineering. As a total side note, this is also allowing me to hone my video editing skills. I am trying a few new things here. Leaning a little into being silly and having fun with the whole thing. I am also going to call this series "Sky Punch", which is a rare cloud formation that looks like a hole has been punched through the clouds and I am saying that we are "attacking cloud problems". There is a play on words happening here.
