What’s a good percentage to see if and how your protein binds to a ligand when you do affinity screening? Find out when you attend our webinar with Dr. Adams. #drugscreening, #drugdevelpment, #earlydrugdiscovery.
Commonly used methods for fragment library screening often come up short: they might be expensive to maintain and run, produce lots of false positives, or can’t handle low-molecular weight fragments. What if you had a method that didn’t have these limitations? Join Nathan Adams to learn how Dianthus with Spectral Shift technology compares to current methods, and how it gives you confidence and momentum when screening fragment libraries. The D4 dispersion correction is now available for the whole actinide series and r²SCAN-3c can also be used for these elements within ORCA6. Check out the joint paper of the Grimme lab, the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, and FACCTs. This work was also made possible by the new Dynamic Polarizabilities feature in ORCA 6 implemented by Benjamin Helmich-Paris and Miquel Garcia Ratés. https://lnkd.in/dG_BPDNU #ORCAqc #ORCA6 #actinides #londondispersion

Chair of the COST Action CA21101 - "COnfined molecular SYstems: from a new generation of materials to the stars (COSY)" at IFF-CSIC
Sharing a Front Cover of an article from the COST Action CA21101 "COSY". The Front Cover shows a two-dimensional representation of a conical intersection causing a Jahn-Teller distortion that removes the degeneracy of two electronic states. The lowest-energy potential energy surface features close-lying multi minima and saddle points for bypiramidal Cu5 structures. As a result, Cu5 clusters exhibit fluxional motion, a characteristic enhancing their performance as catalysts. Cover design by Katarzyna Krupka. More information can be found in the original research article by Alexander O. Mitrushchenkov and María Pilar de Lara-Castells.

In this paper, the authors provide a tutorial on the structured design of effective #Physical #Random #Access #CHannel (#PRACH) preamble detection based on correlation power. Specifically, the main contribution of this paper is to provide the design methodology leveraging #multi-#stage #thresholds by which #Preamble #ID and PRACH-related time information (Timing Advance) for identifying the transmitted PRACH preamble signal are obtained. For enhancing the effectiveness of the designed PRACH preamble detector, they also consider joint optimization of multi-stage thresholds beyond the individual optimization of each threshold based on the Power Delay Profile. ---- Yoon Tae Song, Sang Won Choi More details can be found at this link: https://lnkd.in/ehWmFmvY
