As we usher in 2024, let's take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of The Region Three Essequibo Islands-West Demerara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (R3CCI) in 2023. It was a year marked by significant strides in economic development and community engagement, starting with our contribution to the national budget, advocating for growth-focused policies. This set the tone for a year of proactive involvement and impactful initiatives. Key highlights included our pivotal meeting with Dr. Natasha Gaskin-Peters and the Centre for Local Business Development, unlocking new opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector. We also engaged in meaningful dialogues with the Regional Democratic Council and the Guyana Police Force, bolstering regional security and creating a conducive environment for private sector growth. Our participation as observers in the Local Government Elections 2023 underscored our commitment to governance and democratic processes. Additionally, our efforts in hosting ISO certification training and our proactive outreach during Agriculture Month, particularly the significant joint ventures announced by R3CCI members, APSOL and Latitude Geospatial, have set a new benchmark for our region's growth. The year culminated with a successful job fair and a sold-out Annual Holiday Mixer, both of which fostered jobs and new business opportunities and further strengthened our community network. As we step into 2024 with renewed vigor, R3CCI is excited to unveil a calendar filled with even more engaging and beneficial activities for our members. Join us as we continue to forge paths for prosperity in Region 3! #R3CCI #YearInReview #EconomicDevelopment #CommunityEngagement #Region3 #Guyana #BusinessGrowth #NetworkingSuccess 🚀🌐🤝
