BAM led consortium Element 1, which is researching and developing a hydrogen solution for the construction industry, launches its new website. Element 1 is striving to achieve a truly end-to-end solution using hydrogen as a supplement to power the future construction industry in a more sustainable way, making possible the reduction of carbon emissions and helping achieve our Net-Zero goals. This year, we met in Dubai and EHS was not on the agenda, but it was THE AGENDA. With more than 2 dozen world-class partnering companies, we all agreed that we have enough data and lessons learned to save actual lives. All of us agreed that EHS is not IP. We must share the lessons learned and save our people (including our contractors) from any potential harm on our sites or Supply Chain. We can do this with minimum costs and efforts. We also agreed that spending on EHS is economically smart. An EHS event, as devestating as it is to the impacted families, causes delays and extra costs to energy projects. A very interesting overview of the market dynamics that must be navigated for zero/low emission H2/NH3 projects to reach an FID. Great to hear that the US is currently a frontrunner "with 19% of overall offtake volumes and 33% of capacity covered by binding contracts being developed in the country". A project agreement has been signed for a light rail system between Haifa and Nazareth in northern #Israel. Alstom a member of the HN - Light Rail Line Ltd. consortium, and its partners Electra Ltd. and Minrav Group Ltd. signed a contract for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the #LRT line between Haifa and Nazareth with Trans Israel, the project organizer.
