The COROB Project aims to address these issues with advanced robotics and cutting-edge technology. We seek innovative solutions to enhance arc welding-based manufacturing using a cooperative multi-robot system with AI, Inspection, Monitoring, and Control. 🤖 Our Open Call offers two funding instruments: Up to €150,000 for integrating and testing technologies that improve physical products. Up to €100,000 for integrating and testing digital developments. We aim to boost efficiency and flexibility in multi-robotic welding processes. We are particularly interested in applications from single applicants, technology developers, and integrators - SMEs and Start-ups. Challenges and Collaboration: - Overcoming the "Valley of Death" in technology deployment, which involves bridging the gap between academic research and practical application. - Importance of integrating new technologies into existing processes while ensuring they are reliable and supported. 7. Future Directions: - Preparing for future challenges such as the integration of hydrogen technologies. - Ensuring that design philosophies incorporate maintainability and inspection readiness from the start.
