Petrobras, is making bold moves towards expanding its FPSO fleet, and the implications are monumental! Let’s think together? In the upcoming years (2029-2032), Petrobras plans to deploy seven new FPSOs, supporting both revitalization projects like Marlim Sul/Leste and Tupi, as well as new developments including Búzios 12 and Mero 5. This strategic expansion is a testament to Petrobras' commitment to innovation and growth in the industry. In the current phase (2024-2028), Petrobras is already on track to inaugurate 13 FPSOs, with operations ranging from Marechal Duque de Caxias in 2024 to SEAP I and II, alongside Barracuda/Caratinga in 2028. The tendering process is underway, attracting interest from industry giants eager to contribute their expertise to Petrobras' vision.
