The #French are becoming increasingly mindful of their environmental footprint when it comes to their purchases, and the #cosmetics industry is taking note. The market for natural cosmetics is seeing a 15% growth each year, as more and more consumers seek out "safe" and sustainable products. At Nocibé Opéra store, half of the references are now "green," and the director predicts this will rise to 80% within the next few years. Meanwhile, in the heart of the Alps, the Serraval area's lemon balm harvest is being used in anti-inflammatory and anti-aging creams. As Aurore Metral, the area manager, notes, "Nature is much more powerful than chemistry."
