The vulnerability of smart grid devices to cyber attacks. Hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) in #Vancouver, #Canada, a team of experts from the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory presented a new approach to protecting the grid. It is a model that prioritises the most serious threats first. The idea is to create a preventative model rather than focusing on solving specific attacks. PNNL aims to improve the cyber resilience of smart grids and strengthen the security of the electric grid. Tom Rickey | #cybersecurity #smartgrids #renewableenergy #PNNL
