Earlier this week, I was reading Andy Grove's book, "Only the Paranoid Survive" (CEO, Intel Corporation) and he emphasized some similar ideas around the importance of focus and commitment during a pivot.
Whether you are a giant corporation navigating a pivot, or a pre-seed bootstrapped founder trying to squeeze impact from your marketing budget, having a clear strategy that the whole team can align on and commit to is critical.
Don't wait to find clarity and align the team until it is too late. This is a mistake I have made and it was all too painful. We have to listen to the market and move decisively and with purpose.
