This week, the ARM Institute's Robotics Manufacturing Hub team welcomed Pittsburgh manufacturer Robinson Fans to our facility to explore solutions for robotic multi-pass welding for structural components and to help their team get hands-on with robotics! By the end of the no-cost meeting, Robinson Fans left with: ➡ A sample robotically welded part, programmed by Robinson Fans staff as taught by the ARM Institute team, to take home for x-ray inspection so that the team can continue to perfect the process before Robinson Fans commits to purchasing a robot arm ➡ Hands-on familiarization with industrial robots, collaborative robots, and Motosim simulation software ➡ An understanding of the differences between industrial and collaborative robots and how those differences can play to their strengths and weaknesses ➡ Knowledge of the process it takes to apply robotic automation to their welded parts ➡ Knowledge of the market landscape for robotic welding and capabilities This could be you! The Robotics Manufacturing Hub is a free service for small and medium sized manufacturers in the Pittsburgh region and is funded by through the Southwestern Pennsylvania New Economy Collaborative, the region's Build Back Better Regional Challenge grant. **Driving Innovation in Robotics & Automation with Precision Machining** 🤖🌟 In the ever-evolving landscape of robotics and automation, two elements are paramount: precision and innovation. An industry that thrives on accuracy, it relies heavily on the ability to constantly push boundaries, always walking the tightrope between what's possible and the unimaginable. Precision machining is propelling this sector into the future. It's the unacknowledged artist behind the curtain, crafting high-quality, complex parts that enable robots to perform intricate tasks smoothly. Imagine a robotic arm performing a delicate operation, or a precision drone that can navigate densely built urban landscapes. This isn't science fiction, it's happening now, and precision machining is the unsung hero. Roboticists and automation engineers worldwide must appreciate this truth: Each advancement in robotics, every automation breakthrough, is directly proportional to the refinement in precision machining. Want to shape the future? Start refining your precision today. Because in robotics and automation, every small detail matters. It's not just about building robots - it's about crafting the future. So, who's ready to craft the future with me? Let's disrupt, innovate and elevate the world of robotics and automation together!

People are loving our simple no CAD, no code teaching method. Our last customer actually bought the system for our Production Tuning process (https://lnkd.in/exE-KUet) which allows ABB Robotics' industrial robots and GoFa cobots to automatically adjust for part/seam variation. So.....no more re-teaching every time a seam wanders! Point tuning is nothing new; however, our point and click method used to create this tuning search code during the teaching phase is revolutionary.
