This is a really interesting article by @PatriciaMoore from Turner & Townsend. The technology which is increasingly integral to the construction sector means that we are competing for talent with a wide pool of sectors. And many of those sectors are doing a better job at making themselves appear more attractive to those choosing their careers, for example by offering better salaries, a more attractive work life balance or by showing the impact the individual can make. I would love to see the construction industry shout louder about the positive impacts it is making to our day to day lives and the lengths that many companies are going to mitigate their environmental impacts or even improve the environments they are involved with. https://lnkd.in/eeQ3ddpm #ARResourcing #Recruitment #Construction ----- Contact: 07795 148 182 I adam.richardson@arresourcing.com Message: https://lnkd.in/eS-T64ZC Over 20 years helping companies recruit procurement and commercial professionals across the construction industries.

In today's competitive construction industry, retaining top talent is critical for the success of any organization. As a recruiter, I have seen firsthand the challenges that companies face in retaining skilled workers, especially in a booming economy. 🏗️ Despite the demand for construction professionals, companies can implement effective strategies to ensure that their top talent remains satisfied and engaged in their roles. One key strategy for retaining top construction talent is to invest in continuous learning and development opportunities. By providing ongoing training and career advancement programs, companies can show their commitment to the professional growth of their employees, ultimately increasing retention rates. 📚 Additionally, offering competitive compensation and benefits packages is crucial in today's competitive job market. Providing attractive perks such as flexible work schedules, wellness programs, and performance-based bonuses can significantly enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty. 💼 Lastly, cultivating a positive company culture that values open communication, teamwork, and work-life balance is essential for retaining top construction talent. A supportive and inclusive work environment promotes employee engagement and reduces turnover, ultimately benefiting the organization in the long run. By implementing these strategies, companies can position themselves as employers of choice in the construction industry and retain their top talent for years to come. #ConstructionTalent #EmployeeRetention #TalentManagement
