If you have more than one offer, you won’t scale. 7 days ago, Dwayne Clarke and I attended Clay Atlanta. What an eye-opener it was to meet guys like Alex Fine🌲 and David Dollar who are way ahead of us in their careers. In fact, so humbling that we decided to scrap everything else and focus solely on AI-based Cold Outbound using Clay. We were trying to do too much because we were afraid. eCommerce, Lead Gen, Creative Agency…In the early stages of business there’s always the FOMO. “But if I offer more services, it should bring us more business, right?” Wrong, most of the time. When you spread out your intellectual and human resources, you end up becoming mediocre at everything. Dwayne and I focused only on serving our 3PL Client All Points for the last 6 months, which gave us a deep understanding of the Logistics industry. The result? We beat the industry average every time in a demand capture market like logistics. Pick one thing, and get really good at it. Don’t waver.

Live from Clay Atlanta! Really awesome event. It was a special feeling being recognized immediately by Dwayne Clarke upon arrival. He came all the way from Toronto and came right up to me and had some very kind words about Understory and the content we put out. It means the world to me knowing that Ali and I have built a globally recognized brand in the space. Honestly, it's one of the proudest accomplishments of my life. Dwayne is super sharp, and has nothing but greatness in his future. Given that he's only 20 years old, I wouldn't be surprised to see big things from him in the future. Here he is explaining how he connects n8n and various webhooks to Clay to a bunch of normies. Legend in the making. Thank you for making my night Dwayne.
