If you hire interns through our programme and you're not a Community Member... ask yourself, why not? We are a charity. Like so many other incredible initiatives on a mission to build a better world, we rely on funding to support what we do. We also happen to work with corporates... Over 1,000 organisations have been through our programme since 2020 Only 13% of those organisations have ever donated to support our mission. Our groundbreaking internship programmes are free to use at the point of use! As is all of our training, events, and alumni programming (for students AND organisations) Why? Because the issue of underrepresentation is a social change issue We believe in people. We believe they will make this change. And we believe this will take everyone! That means everyone needs to be able to engage From the smallest SMEs with no HR department hiring incredible Black talent and changing their organisations to the students that need our financial support to travel to their interviews, to the training for all those who weren't successful in securing an internship this year... To all our organisations welcoming interns this summer: this IS your Corporate Social Responsibility. DM me !! Greatful to serve as the Board Chair for such an active and involved “community profit” company called Pro-Se Potential. One of our community outreach events was featured on the Back to Besa show with FOX news capture by the ever active Converge Media Team. Check it out in the link below. Our mission is to help our youth outperform their current environments. While we have a wide reach a majority of our children and families exist in King and Pierce Counties. If you want to get involved we have a Gala coming up November 2nd. Contact me for details. How do we heal a nation? Listen to the needs of the states. How do we heal the states? Is there such thing as free time? 🌅 My friend and former board president of Search to Involve Pilipino Americans, Edward Malicdem, had a chance to catch up today. Ed served as board president of the non-profit organization for many years. At the end of 2023 his term ended and so I asked the question: What do you do with your downtime? Ed runs the Pasadena office of Merrill Lynch. He has a big job, but he always makes the time to serve the community. This was the first time in a long time that we didn’t talk board “stuff” and just caught up on the family, worldly events and talked shop about the market. These are my favorite #friendships. #commUNITY #boardwork #market #economy #investments #advisors
