Family Homes in Ukraine | Adoptive Families in Ukraine | Orphans in Ukraine True Status Orphans in Ukraine, those who have no living relatives able to care for them, and Social Orphans, kids who have been abused, neglected or exploited, can be adopted or come under the guardianship of loving families in Ukraine. Families that have an adoptive spirit can provide stability, structure, healing and hope for a new life and an exciting future for these children. ** International adoptions are frozen at the time of this posting due to the restrictions of martial law in Ukraine. ** Support from private individuals and foundations is critical to meet the heavy and specialized needs of these kids who have experienced horrendous trauma connected to domestic violence, abandonment, war and displacement as refugees. https://lnkd.in/eQPV8FVK

The anger and hatred directed at the #Rohingya in 🇮🇩 appear to be fueled by external parties via hate speech on social media. The hate speech has seemingly influenced and, in some cases, brainwashed the #Indonesian people. This mob attack on the Rohingya is deeply concerning. This whole thread was a mess and not in order that drafted. Today, a hundreds of a young mobsters attacked the temporary shelter #Rohingya refugees currently reside in. Please do not ever forget that women and children are disproportionately affected.

Today's headlines focus on pressing issues such as SGBV. From challenging outdated cultural practices to exploring the vital role of men in guiding the youth's values in Vihiga. Additionally, we address the concerning breakdown of family units in Busia, often due to misplaced priorities, where some women prioritize their pastors over their husbands, leading to family disputes and even physical altercations. It's imperative that we confront these challenges and work towards building healthier relationships and communities. Let's advocate for mutual respect, understanding, and support within our families. #VuukaNews #SGBV #EndGBV #FamilyValues #CommunityUnity #Vihiga #Busia #Relationships

Despite repeated reports warning of the antisemitism in United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) schools, the UN agency continues to employ teachers who spread hate and teach hateful and inciting content to children, according to a new report by UN Watch and IMPACT-SE published on Tuesday. The report included 100 pages of evidence showing examples of hate and incitement to violence spread by UNRWA teachers and schools. The organizations compiled the evidence by searching through the Facebook profiles of confirmed UNRWA employees and collecting photos from inside UNRWA classrooms and UNRWA-created material distributed online. The organizations noted that they only checked Facebook profiles that they could verify as being of UNRWA employees, meaning that the actual number of employees spreading hateful messages is likely higher. Additional verified employees also share the hateful content created by other employees. "Were UNRWA itself to examine its employees, on and off Facebook and other social media platforms, it can reasonably be estimated that thousands of UNRWA employees would be implicated in supporting hate or violence," noted the organizations in the report.

The war is still there people are getting killed every hour in Gaza Palestine For the feminists & woman rights supporters across the world: - 2 women are killed every 1-2 hours - women are not having any hygienic products for their health speaking of the basic sanitry napkins. - women are losing their babies because of malnutrition they are getting so their babies die in their wombs. For the child rights supporters: - 50% of the kills in Gaza are kids under the age of 10 - Kids are suffering from severe starvation - Kids are suffering from diseases due to lack of hygienic setup. - Kids are starved from sleeping because of the non stop bombarding - Kids are mentally sabotaged with what they had witnessed from the death all around them. For the human rights supporters - more than 30,000 human being souls simply disappeared from earth. - Complete families got wiped out in a blink of an eye - Food, water & petroleum reaching to Gaza is way way low compared to the normal human being needs - People are sleeping in tents in the hard cold winter. What else does the world need to see to stop this genocide and stand with the right. #palestinelivesmatter #palestinegenocide #palestinesolidarity #israelwarcrimes

How is RET making an impact against gender-based violence (GBV) in Mbera Camp in Mauritania? By collaborating with community leaders, including zone chiefs, block chiefs, religious leaders, Quranic teachers, and resourceful women, we've implemented awareness initiatives reaching a vast number of refugees. The primary goal of these awareness sessions is to prevent GBV by instigating behavioral, perceptual, and attitudinal changes among refugees. Emphasizing the importance of education for young refugee girls, a total of 5,800 refugees (4,345 women and 1,455 men) have benefited from these enlightening sessions, covering a variety of essential topics. Education and awareness are powerful tools for positive change! We remain committed to fostering a safer and more informed community. #GBV #CommunityImpact #Mauritania #humanitarian #development #peace #opportunities #education #refugees
