As customer expectations continue to increase, the live entertainment, hospitality, and sports industries are pivoting towards delivering premium experiences. Sports stadiums are ideal venues where these three industries intersect to provide fans with exceptional experiences. Aramark has created a new premium hospitality framework called Aura, which was softly launched at the San Antonio Spurs’ Frost Bank Center when its new Agave Club was recently opened. According to Joe Loomis, Spurs' Sports & Entertainment senior vice president, “You’ve seen for the past couple of years, your premium clients aren’t coming just for the game, they’re coming for an experience." Absolutely thrilled to share a commercial update with the attendees of Network My Club at Fratton Park last week. 📈 Taking a moment to reflect on my first year at Portsmouth Football Club since joining in February 2023 was truly enlightening. 🙌🏼 Rarely do I find the time for reflection, but this speaking opportunity offered the perfect reason to hit pause and look back. What did my reflection reveal? Pure pride! 🚀 Pride in my incredible team, who've accomplished so much in just 11 months. None of these achievements would have been possible without their openness to change and their unwavering commitment to refining processes and overcoming challenges. And the results speak volumes! 📊 We've witnessed universal growth in commercial revenue across our portfolio, spanning sponsorship, hospitality, and ticketing. Our season ticket holders have soared to an impressive 15,000, surpassing pre-pandemic levels, with a waiting list introduced for future seasons for the first time in the Club's history. Matchday hospitality sales will surpass £500k, marking a remarkable 15% increase from last season, while lounge occupancy is set to exceed 90% for the season, compared to 83% last term. Public speaking hasn’t always been my comfort zone, but over the years, I've grown more accepting of it. 🎤 Nerves are normal, but it's undeniably easier when you have such a positive story to tell.
