When I saw this post I asked myself what made Haifa care to embrace her company's values. I think when employees understand the company's mission and vision, they're more likely to embrace their company's values. This post clearly indicates that the company management succeeded in publicizing company's values and creating a positive work environment, where employees feel proud to work for the company, want to excel, go above and beyond in their work and also embrace and embody their company's values Values are the company’s DNA. They are the lifeblood of business. Values, when clearly and widely communicated, would help management empower their employees and build a sense of purpose in the workplace When company's values are defined and enforced, they can inspire workers to hold themselves to higher standards Not only that, company's values are extremely important when it comes to talent attraction and retention and I sense that in Haifa as I think she feels a sense of belonging otherwise she wouldn't have cared to share this post with us Job well done, KBR-AMCDE management

As leaders, there is a lot we can learn from Simone Biles. She is undeniably the leader of the US women’s Olympic gymnastics team. 1) The importance of recognizing and addressing your limits. Many people tout leaning into your strengths. While that is importance for deciding what roles are most suitable for you to succeed (e.g. Simone chose gymnastics over swimming), once you have selected a role, to become truly excellent, we have to recognize and address what is holding us back. Simone took two years off from gymnastics to work on strengthening her mental fitness and it paid off. 2) How to lift others up. She is the GOAT of gymnastics but instead bowed to a competitor. This can only be done from a place of self-confidence AND humility. #leadership #mentalhealth #olympics

There is a big difference between Passover and Easter, but you may be surprised to learn that it isn’t that one is Jewish and one is Christian. So, what is the difference between Easter and Passover? What do we discover when we compare them to each other: Easter vs. Passover? Here are five major differences between the biblical Passover and Easter. Difference 1: Passover’s biblical origin vs. no biblical reference for Easter The origin of the Passover is found in Exodus 12. The Israelites had been under harsh slavery to the Egyptian Pharaoh, who had refused to let them go. Because of Pharaoh’s stubbornness, God sent a series of plagues on Egypt and was about to send the 10th and final plague: killing the firstborn of all people and animals. Differences Between Easter and Passover God would spare, or “pass over,” only those who smeared lamb’s blood on their doorway (Exodus 12:12-13). The day was called the Passover and was to be kept by Israel as a memorial of their deliverance from slavery in Egypt (Exodus 12:14; Leviticus 23:4-5). What about Easter? You can’t find Easter commanded in the Bible. The word is actually located in Acts 12:4 in the 1611 King James Version, but most scholars recognize it as a clear translation error (modern translations replace it with the word Passover).
