👀 🛫 In the final session of the #GlobalTBO Symposium, our ED, Andreas Boschen, highlighted the necessity of a TBO roadmap. “We need a roadmap because there are so many elements that have to be implemented by so many #stakeholders. It has to be as simple as possible, comprehensive as necessary,” he said, reminding the audience about the plan to make TBO a reality progressively by 2040, to be outlined in the next edition of European #ATMMasterPlan. 📢 He moderated a panel discussion gathering insights from… 👇🏽 🔹 Pascal Luciani, International Civil Aviation Organization, noted that the European roadmap is advanced and consistent and even ahead of what is in the global air navigation plan (#GANP). He underlined the need for global mandates and sustained #cooperation between Member States. 🔹 From a safety perspective, Luc Tytgat, EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency said that the roadmap on the table has real potential since TBO will contribute to reducing conflicts, among other things. The next steps will be the #certification of the technologies in the pipeline to confirm that they are safe and meet the expected #performance requirements. Alignment globally will be critical to overcome fragmentation and ensure #implementation worldwide. 🔹 Steve Bradford - Federal Aviation Administration, agreed with the principles outlined in the European TBO Roadmap, but noted that there are different ways (technologies) to getting there. We need to figure out how to transition to hyper connectivity and the connected aircraft, to overcome artificial barriers and use software to break them down. 🔹 Anna von Groote, EUROCAE, noted that there are standards already available or in the pipeline for TBO that are fit for purpose. The focus now is on establishing even closer links between #SESAR #deployment priorities coming out of the European #ATMMasterPlan campaign and the EUROCAE technical work programme. We need to leverage ICAO’s leadership to ensure global implementation. 🔹 Christine Berg, European Commission, said that frameworks like #SESAR were helping to engage stakeholders both in Europe and globally and build the momentum to advance ATM modernisation. She noted that roll-out takes time and so it is essential that stakeholders stay energised for the duration. She concluded that there are high expectations for a gear change to deliver the changes to keep aviation safe and sustainable. It’s a global challenge that requires a global answer. #ATM #AirTrafficManagement #DigitalSky #Collaboration

Various cultures bring different expectations regarding silver service and private jets. In specific business aviation training, there should be an extensive discussion on this topic, which is highly relevant. A VIP flight attendant's role involves understanding and surpassing the needs and expectations of passengers on board. Understanding various cultures and their expectations is crucial. Some customers may seek attention and care, while others prefer privacy and independence. While each person and flight is unique, having knowledge of common expectations is essential. As a VIP flight attendant, you follow service guidelines given by the company but also adapt to each situation and expectation, creating your own standard. In conclusion, In a Private Jet cabin your aim is to shape your service like a fluid takes the form of its container! #privatejetcoach #viptravel #expectation #silverservice #hospitality #privatejet #corporateaviation https://lnkd.in/dYjWpaJx

Aviation Glass & Technology: industry’s leading supplier of AeroGlass, a crystal-clear, ultra-thin, ultra-strong laminated glass, manufactured solely for aircraft interior applications | Managing Director
A new year... a perfect moment to express gratitude! If there's one product I'm most proud of, it's our toilet mirror. It's been about 10 years since we wanted to introduce it, and it wasn't a straightforward process. It needed certification first. Reinoud, along with the ADSE Consulting and Engineering team, walked me through the certification rules from start to finish. They explained everything required to obtain that certification. What followed was an investigative journey. First, the basics. I researched them at the ADSE office. They pointed out that you don't certify just the product; it's the product in combination with the installation location that matters. For instance, toilets have different certification rules than cabins. Moreover, the certificate needs to be requested by the owner or builder of an aircraft. "Back to the drawing board...", was what I thought.. Luckily, I knew an aircraft owner. We removed all potentially certifiable products from his plane and reverse-engineered them. After extensive testing, we submitted an application to EASA through ADSE, and they approved it. Finally, we could approach other parties with our product. The rest is history. It wasn't easy, and without ADSE and Reinoud Hermans, it certainly wouldn't have been possible. I'm still immensely grateful to them! 🙌🏻 #certification #aerospace #glassmirror
