The incredible business of racing. From Championship partners to Team sponsors to Grand Prix sponsors, Formula 1 is booming commercially and it's easy to see why. High time to board the bandwagon? According to data specialist Global Data, the Formula 1 World Championship boasts a substantial annual sponsorship value estimated at $513.75 million, spread across its 22 partners. Among these partners are globally recognized brands, with notable agreements exceeding $50 million annually with industry giants like Heineken and Rolex. The success of the docu-series "Drive to Survive" has significantly contributed to the series' expansion. Remarkably, 18 out of the 22 active partners for 2024 were onboarded during or post the 2019 season, coinciding with Netflix's debut season release of the documentary series. The commercial success of the premier series of four-wheel racing is unprecedented, just as the series continues its stunning growth towards an even bigger calendar filled with spectacular locations. The reasons? A visually stunning show, an impressive bouquet of values for sponsor brands to enjoy, the absolute pinnacle of technology and luxury. For the first time in Formula 1 history, all team principals and drivers will gather under one roof to reveal their championship contenders. Traditionally, teams have unveiled their new cars and drivers individually at their home bases before the first race. However, that approach is being set aside next year as Formula 1 plans a grand event where all 10 team principals and 20 drivers will collectively present their 2025 championship challengers. This milestone event is part of F1’s 75th-anniversary celebrations and is set to take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 18, 2025. This marks the first time in the sport’s history that all team liveries will be unveiled simultaneously, let alone in the same venue. Driving the GENBETA electric racing car, Al Aboud (pioneering Saudi Arabian female racing driver) achieved a 0-100km/h (0-60mph) time of 2.49 seconds, outpacing the 2.6-second FIA single-seater benchmark set by current Formula 1 machinery.
