Educational Tours at Austin Detonator Ignite Curiosity Austin Detonator recently welcomed Vsetín Secondary Technical School students to the company for a visit and excursion. During the event, they had the opportunity to observe the working environment of a large manufacturer and learn more about the processes of detonator production, gaining new experience. "The importance of our industry lies not only in the production itself but also in how our work affects the future and helps build a better world. During the excursion, we introduced the students to our history, technologies, and innovations, and also introduced them to the processes of detonator production," said Jiří Václavík, director of Austin Detonator. The excursion offered students valuable, hands-on experience in explosives, helping them make informed decisions about their future careers.

It's exciting to witness the advancements in the field of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs), which stir up fond memories of my early research days. As an undergraduate student , I explored parity-time (PT) symmetry breaking in BECs [1], a theoretical concept with intriguing implications. Later, I learnt a lot about BEC of quasi particles like magnons, etc but that’s for another post. Fast forward to today, and #oqtant #Infleqtion is empowering everyone with tools to delve into the world of BEC. The platform fosters a fascinating exploration of BECs, providing access to cutting-edge resources for enthusiasts and experts. With oqtant.infleqtion, the community can now engage with these concepts more tangibly, fostering a new era of discovery. It's an exciting time for science, and I'm thrilled to see the doors it opens for curious minds. [1] https://lnkd.in/dQkmTcBh #cooling_the_hell_out_of_atoms ⚛️

How can engineers co-create solutions WITH society, rather than engineering FOR imagined users? That is the question Scientific Assistant Corinna V. has asked regarding how we can practically bring co-creation into engineering education. In The Roadmap for Co-creation Teaching for Socially Responsible Engineering Education, she presents a guiding resource on how to “do” responsibility in the classrooms, making the connection between mission and practical implementation clearer. The tool shows seven steps to making implementing social responsibility through co-creation with society more feasible in teaching. External pressure has grown, therefore asking universities to produce societally responsible solutions through contact with external partners can help to maintain legitimacy. This document was developed through collaboration within the EuroTeQ Engineering University, with the EuroTeQ alliance goal being “to be more socially responsible and contribute to sustainable development”. Data from teachers, students, teaching units, managers, and stakeholders across the EuroTeQ universities were collected to learn about challenges and opportunities for better co-creation practices with relevant stakeholders. 🎬 A peak into this week's groups activity at our E-Cell SIT 📍 Saffrony Institute of Technology, S.P.B. Patel Engineering College . It was a groups discussion👥️ with the students playing the role of the panelist, the moderators, the judges and the coordinators. ➡️ There were 3 panels with 3 differnet moderators giving a number of students the chance to experience the process🧾. Having 3 different moderators also meant that we got a variety of differnet questions and differnet ways that the topic was approached💫. In these session a lot of things were learnt as students who played the roles of panelist understood🧠 how to make a point to answer a question and in what way can they build upon a topic . At the same time the moderators learned how to explore a topic when all you can do is ask questions❓️ and how to control the flow of a conversation🎤 without being a direct part of it. 💥 As new people took on the role of judges and coordinator they too learned how to observe and find out what someone is good at and also what maybe lacking. 🥳 Overall a great experience on this journey to learn for the while team. #learning #discussion #questionanswer #newideas #buildideas #confidence #importance #teamwork #members #ecellsit #ecelliitbombay #IITs #saffronyinstituteoftechnology

For next generation scientists and engineers, please check the following link, you may find your way to enjoy your research. ---- snip snip ---- Enjoy your summer in Korea while participating in cutting-edge research projects! The disruptions in a global supply chain created by the pandemic have impacted almost everyone’s daily lives in the U. S. and beyond. One notable example is the “semiconductor chip shortage”. The chips process data and enable autonomous operations of various consumer products, in many cases, without direct human interventions. Among those semiconductor chip devices, a collection of devices that convert one energy form to another is called transducers. Our IRES site program aims at providing frontier research experiences in the development of low-dimensional materials for transducers (LDM4T) at university laboratories in Korea. Our site activities are structured to provide interdisciplinary research experiences in a global setting so students can contextualize research findings in real-world applications.

'Emotion Into Art' ~ Motivational Speaking/Speed Painting ~ K-12 Schools, Social Work, Colleges, Corporate, Sports, Military, Charities
During the activity, students place hexagons next to each other to visually show a connection. For each connection, they must also be able to share a rationale. This strategy therefore allows teachers to gain insight into students’ thinking and to potentially correct misconceptions in real time. / https://lnkd.in/gKzMXzRV. ~ #emotionintoart #motivation #motivational #motivationalspeaker #motivationalspeaking
