However, the eight #Stellantis brands shifted their combined average score from 2.6 in October 2023 to 5.3 in April 2024. While this is still below the overall average, it shows swift work by new manufacturer boss Maria-Grazia Davino who has only been in the role for eight months. At the other end of the spectrum #JLR had a particularly poor result. With Stellantis lifting its brands,#Jaguar, historically a poor performer, took 32nd and last place with a score of 2.9. #LandRover was the second fastest falling brand to take 30th place. 🌟 March 2024: A Strong Month for GA Adriatic with Renault & Dacia Registrations! 🚗💼 As we close another successful month, it's exhilarating to see the growth and achievements within the automotive sector. March 2024 has proven to be a fruitful period, marking a notable increase in market activity and retail sales. - Amongst the stars, Renault shone brightly, securing it’s place in the TOP 3 in retail sales with 333 registrations. - Dacia secured 222 registrations on total market. - In the competitive arena of the TOP 20 retail models, Renault proudly placed 3 of its models. The spotlight, however, was on the Clio, which clinched the 1st place with an outstanding 134 cars sold. Other notable mentions include the Captur with 78 cars sold and the Austral with 60 cars sold. This month's achievements underscore the vibrant dynamics of the automotive market and the robust performance of our models, especially the Clio, which continues to capture the hearts and driveways of our esteemed customers. So far this year, our beloved Clio in it’s local version I FEEL SLOVENIA, captured the hearts of more then 300 retail customers. According to #nada, in June of '23, it was $718 pnvr in retail auto and growing. This is UNSUSTAINABLE... for auto retailers. It is untenable for us as responsible vendors, supposedly "good stewards" of a dealers' dollar to allow this to continue. We MUST work together as an industry of "PARTNERS" to turn this trend around for them. 1) Because that number contains nearly 55% waste (many of us know it). 2) Because dealers have many pressures on their profit margins, and even more coming in 2024 and the years beyond. 3) Because dealers deserve better. Dealers results in profitability and marketshare MUST come before our own profitability and marketshare. It's called being a PARTNER rather than a vendor. 4) Helping dealers to re-direct those wasted dollars toward better customer experiences is exactly what the market needs today. 2024 is off to a promising start at Peugeot UK. January's Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) registration data showed PEUGEOT passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales grew by +44% year-on-year, driving a market share increase of +1.1 percentage points to 4.53%. With Europe's widest mainstream electric vehicle range, Peugeot is making the switch to 100% electric mobility more accessible to more people. In January, the New PEUGEOT E-208 topped the charts as UK's No.1 bestselling electric supermini. And, our latest products are attracting new buyers to our brand. Sales of New 208 grew by +32% year-on-year, putting 208 on the podium of the UK's supermini segment. New PEUGEOT 408 also achieved No.2 rank in the competitive D-Segment, doubling last year's sales volume. The Presidio Group’s latest quarterly report, featured in this week’s Automotive News, details the vehicle brands that have maintained strong positions in the market and those that are losing ground. Even though most dealers answering a Presidio survey expect dealership profits to broadly drop this year and nearly half expect store values to decline, “brands and geography matter much more than ever during this normalization journey,” Presidio President George Karolis said. According to the survey, certain dealerships remain more desirable than others, such as Toyota and Lexus, which continue to lead the Presidio Brand Desirability Rankings. Honda and Subaru improved, while Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Stellantis were among the brands that ticked down in our survey.
