We can and must catalyse behaviour that helps shape the reputation of the brands and companies that we work for. We have to lead by example. To be the author of action and help frame narratives, is the bread-and-butter work of a Public Relations professional and to do this well we need to always be mindful of our ethical and moral responsibilities. We are the custodians of image, the fathers and mothers who must take care of the brand and keep an eye on the bigger picture. Not just this quarter’s targets, but the lifelong value of a well nurtured reputation. When we have this perspective, it is easy to see the value of 5 extra days as opposed to the exorbitant price of a last-minute ticket change.The pictures we help paint and frame are the images that imprint minds. Things happen and we have to respond to them, or we make things happen – and then we as PR practitioners help give them meaning and this special gift that we have, to help craft and shape a narrative, is what makes our profession powerful and meaningful. #publicrelations

Such an interesting take on how we should approach to validate system that will be in charge of safety inside the car. For DMS it will involve not only tracking the condition of the driver but monitoring performance failures while driving. In that sense, ADAS and DMS should be working as one 🤔

Like Rick in his YouTube video, I was amazed that I couldn't tell 'Carolina-O' and 'Tears in the Sand' were fully AI-generated songs. It's impressive that his son could identify them as AI instantly – that's quite a skill! While I may never fully embrace AI-generated songs, I see incredible potential for bands, whether well-known or not, to use tools like Udio for inspiration. Imagine generating songs in a specific genre to spark new melodies and instrumental progressions that the band can then develop with their unique touch. But who gets credited as the 'songwriter' in such cases? I recently watched a video about the making of New Order's 'Blue Monday.' Gillian Gilbert painstakingly programmed much of the rhythm into drum machines and synthesizers by hand, deserving a 'Programming' credit. Today, we're witnessing the culmination of the digital revolution in music that began in the '80s. And as they say, this is the worst this technology is ever going to be - in 6 months, who knows. Now, platforms like Udio and Suno are facing lawsuits. Where will this lead? Ask the Beatles who their influences were – can you sue them for derivative works? This issue isn't going away.
