Aviva Family and Children's Services’ Post

We're renovating the space previously known as Aviva High School to be a safe haven for unhoused and LGBTQ+ youth to receive critical services to support youth without the systems of support critical during this transitional age to adulthood. Opening Fall 2024, the drop-in center will include: ⭐ Access to shower and laundry facilities, food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.    ⭐ Mental health services, case management, healthcare referrals, educational support, and job placement assistance.   ⭐ Community and connection to give youth the tools and support to become independent young adults.

Kim, So glad to see this important addition to services. Next time I’m in LA I’ll get a tour.

Great way to use that beautiful space.
