Edit – August 6th: On July 31st, the European Commission temporarily ended the new 100ml regulation due to potential difficulties in detecting dangerous products by new 3D X-ray scanners with larger quantities of liquid. Starting September 1, 2024 (and even sooner in some airports), travelers will again have to remove liquid products from their bags to pass through security checks. However, this rollback is expected to be temporary, with no known end date at this time.
