💼 Last Saturday, I had the privilege of attending the esteemed London Venture Capital Network Summit. The event proved to be an invaluable opportunity to gain insights into the latest trends and developments shaping the industry. 🚀 💡 While all the talks and the startup pitch competition were highly informative and inspirational, the true highlight was the Gen AI Debate. The distinguished panel, comprising Thelma Onyeka from Akama Fund, Nic Rawhani from Vula, David Calderwood from RED Semiconductor, and Jonny Rose from The Story Club Ltd., provided a wealth of knowledge and thought-provoking perspectives on the current state and future trajectory of Gen AI. Furthermore, they engaged in a compelling discourse surrounding the role of intellectual property (IP) in protecting solutions in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. 🔐 📹 One of the standout moments was Nic Rawhani's eloquent and lucid explanation of how we have arrived at the precipice of Gen AI. I have taken the liberty of attaching the video clip, as I believe it will resonate with many of you. 🤝 At BeeReal, we pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve, continuously enhancing our expertise to better serve our esteemed clientele. As the Venture Capital ecosystem navigates the complexities and embraces the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies like Gen AI, we stand ready to support them in evolving into the next generation of sustainable internal solutions. #VentureCapital #DigitalTransformation #BeeReal #GenAI #Innovation #TechTrends

The Information is out with more breaking #AIfunding news. The latest reflects Mistral AI raising “several hundred million,” at a $5B+ valuation. For those keeping track this follows their recent $415M round closed at $2B in December 2023. One has to wonder how long early stage investors will be able to justify these valuations on companies that are just staring to generate revenue. What do you think? #management #venturecapital #privateequity #aifinancing #capitalmarkets #aifinance

🚀 The AI investment bubble is inflating the VC market once again! In our latest blog post, Pyr Marcondes delves into the discussions at #SXSW2024, highlighting the challenges facing VCs in achieving profitability amidst a mere 5% success rate. The panel led by Batual Joffrey and Bryce Roberts emphasized the need for a paradigm shift in VC math, moving away from the unicorn chase towards safer, less disruptive ventures. However, a new bubble is emerging in #AI investments, with one-third of #VC dollars already flowing into this sector. Are we witnessing history repeat itself? Read more: https://lnkd.in/eXF4xJfW
