Waiting Well | Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) https://lnkd.in/e5jY6QfT https://lnkd.in/ejzh79gz I am very proud to present Cambridgeshire and Peterborough's Waiting Well Programme which I have been leading on for the last 12months with many of our system partners.   Waiting Well is a project designed to support patients on a waiting list across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The primary focus is patients waiting for surgical procedures, however, there is a lot of useful information and guidance that is relevant for all patients waiting (There is a wider vision to expand the project to incorporate additional patient groups in the future).   Waiting Well looks past the number on the waiting list, the programme looks to support the individual – medically, but also who they are as a person taking a holistic approach to care.     We understand that being on a waiting list, for any length of time is difficult. Patients could be suffering with chronic pain, unable to work – left feeling isolated, facing financial difficulties, the patient could have dependants that they can no longer support, other lifestyle concerns they want to address, poor mental health or just generally need additional support until treatment is available.
