Today I share a glimpse of my. Judy. And then mark their passion, typos and relentless pursuit of excellence. Leaving the shores? Of Nigeria, from Lagos. For the United States all my first flight ever, which happened to be an international flight, is an experience that will never leave my heart. This is not only because of the great opportunity that lies ahead, but also because of my very humble background. I can still remember the look on the on my parents face as it seemed like I could interpret what those looks axed. Who knew that some guy from Ayato Ruberte, every remote village and minority group in Kogi State, Nigeria, would have an international academic exposure? Two years ago. My transition to PFW through the Department of Mathematical Science and Office of International Education from Nigeria felt like a global launch for me once more. I had the same feeling when I got the e-mail from Paula Ash requesting me to speak at the multicultural graduation. As a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Mathematical Science at Purdue University, Fort Wayne, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students, particularly freshmen who grapple with a fear of mathematics. Guided by a community commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, have cultivated a classroom culture where every student feels valued, supported and empowered to succeed. My first year at Gave TW was a period of intense growth and learning, during which I actively participated participated in workshops organised by the Centre for Enhancement of Learning and Teaching Selves. Motivated by my desire to provide my students with the best possible learning experience, I eagerly embrace opportunities for professional development and refinement of my teaching practices. The support offered by Professor Peter Dragnev and Professor Jeff Anderson through the Department of Mathematical Sciences have been nothing short of exceptional. Reinforcing my my passion for education and my dedication to student success. My journey into the world of mathematics was ignited by a profound appreciation for his dependability and precision. Over time, my interests have evolved, leading me to dive deeper into statistics and data science. It is within these fields that I see boundless opportunities for impact and innovation, with applications spanning industries, businesses and real world challenges. However, my aspiration extends far beyond personal success. My goal is to become an expert data scientists, leveraging my skills and knowledge to address pressing global issues in health, climate, business and military domains. I am driven by a deep seated belief in the power of data-driven solutions to affect positive change and transform lives. In my commitment to giving back to the community, I have established an educational foundation in Nigeria. Aimed at supporting final year students from my alma mater in pursuing graduate studies in the United States. Through mentorship and financial assistance, we have already helped 2 deserving students to secure scholarships at universities in the United States. It's an achievement that fills me with immense cries, immense pride and gratitude. Here at PFW, I have spearheaded innovatives. With PW community. I utilize statistical models and data analysis, and my team and I worked tirelessly to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the Shuttle program.
