How I landed my first internship 💼
You might be wondering, “Jonathan, what's the secret? How did you manage to land your first internship?” You might expect me to credit a polished resume, networking, or even luck. And while all of those factors play a key role, the truth is, it's our character (see screenshot of my first ever resume)
Every Engineer knows the struggle of breaking into the industry, but it's our unwavering drive that propels us forward. I faced over 20+ rejections before finally getting my foot in the door. For every iteration, tweaking, amending, reviewing, I strived to provide a kickass application that I'm proud of!
For those still navigating the job hunt, don't lose hope. Your breakthrough is around the corner. As Engineers, we've conquered late night studying sessions and tough assignments/exams – securing a job is just another challenge we're equipped to tackle.
Never underestimate the power of an Engineer's determination. Our potential knows no bounds.
