Dear professional, please do your due diligence. I understand that you desperately want to leave your current job, however, before you take up that offer from a prospective employer do your due diligence. Usually during the recruitment process, HR often carries out background checks to ascertain the validity of what candidates say or present during the recruitment, in the same vein, check out prospective employer before accepting an offer no matter how juicy it looks. Do not be desperate to pick up anything. There are websites where you can check reviews from past employees eg Glassdoor, indeed or LinkedIn. Compensation/perks shouldn’t drive you to pick any offer. Ensure you are convinced that the organization fits into your career plan. Just as companies check if a candidate is a good fit for their culture, you should check if the prospective company fits with your career goals.
