𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘁 #LINO24: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 🔬 Each year, we’re supporting 20 early career academic researchers as Bayer Foundation-Lindau Fellows to participate in the prestigious Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting and invite them to an evening of scientific exchange. At #LINO24, our team member Tatjana Gust and our strategic advisor Dr. Michael Metzlaff welcomed Bayer Crop Science’s leading scientist in Computational Chemistry, Michael Edmund Beck. In addition, we were delighted to host Johann Deisenhofer, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry of 1988 and Otto Bayer Award winner 1988, alongside William (W. E.) Moerner, Nobel Price Winner in Chemistry of 2014. The evening featured enriching conversations and presentations about the use of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Chemistry in Life Sciences and Bayer Foundation’s programs, embodying the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting's theme of "Educate. Inspire. Connect." Thanks to Nikolaus Turner, and the LINO#24 organizational team for their invaluable contributions to the success of the evening. #Science #ScientificExchange #NobelLaureates #AcademicResearch #LINO24

2moWhat an evening, what a week! #LINO24 left deep impressions with me. The laureates, of course!, but conversations with the next generation scientists were equally inspiring.
