It was great having another strategy session with Robert and Larry from London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) to address our primary care provider shortage. We have 84,000 people in London and Middlesex County without access to a family doctor. I know that “hope” is not a strategy but I left this meeting feeling hopeful, as we have identified the big rock problems our family doctors are facing and are making plans to tackle these. We will be asking for meetings with community partners to start the planning process. I’ll keep you posted on our progress! #primarycarecrisis #familydoctorshortage
