At the City Council Meeting on January 23, three dedicated employees were honored for their outstanding service and commitment to the community. The first recognition was extended to Rex Olinger, Chief Operater at the Public Works Waste Water Treatment Plant, who celebrated his retirement and an impressive 28 years of service. In a moment captured with Mayor Norman Larkey and Department Director and Assistant City Manager Greg Rokos, Olinger's retirement marked the end of a remarkable chapter in his career. Additionally, Lt. Dan Davis was acknowledged for his 30-year tenure by Police Chief Scott Lyons. Another milestone was reached by Diana Conner, Administrative Assistant at the Fire Department, who was honored for 35 years of dedicated service by Fire Chief John Sapp. These employees' long-standing contributions were celebrated, underscoring their invaluable impact on the Belton community. Join us in celebrating their long careers in public service.
