Proud of our People team who took part in a corporate beach clean and survey event in Brighton (UK) organised by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS). As part of a larger group, we collected over 1000 pieces of litter. The most common discarded items were: 🥤Plastic: packets (sweets, crisps), cigarette stubs, plastic bags 🍭Wood: lolly sticks 🍶Metal: bottle lids, foil wrappers 🚽Sanitary: wet wipes MCS Clean Lead commented: "Not only did you remove litter that harms our marine life and pollutes our ocean, you've provided vital data to fuel our litter campaigns and help affect real change." Small positive actions all contribute to the sustainable future of our planet. This is why all our employees are entitled to use two working days for volunteering activities. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to protect and preserve our natural environment. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported! It was great to be part of the team providing a small contribution that MCS requires to keep campaigning to help save our fish and oceans. 🐠
This was a great day of team building and volunteering!
