The worst who is not patient when has nothing. Being grateful when we have everything is easy, because we have no choice. But being grateful when we have nothing is very difficult. Learn to say thank you even at the bottom. The worst who is not grateful with everything at hand.

POST 99/100 This post is dedicated to Bintu as I love to call her, another friend from our university days who has evolved from being a friend to becoming a sister. I am deeply grateful for the way you not only opened yourself to me but also welcomed my family into yours. Your sister is like my own sister, my own bestie, and your mum has become like a second mother to me. Thank you for all the support during those challenging and difficult days, your family was a constant ray of light and source of hope. One can never express enough gratitude for the help gotten when it was needed. Managing relationships over an extended period may pose challenges, but it is essential on the journey of personal growth. Day 3 BBM Challenge Thank you cards ✨ Thank you today and what better way to illustrate than some of my lovely recent gifts? ☺️ Did I really hear an audible groan when you read the title or is that just my kids? Yep, you kinda knew where I was going with yesterday’s prompt right? This is it. From the list of gift-giving family and friends that you reflected on yesterday, choose one and write them a thank you note for your thoughtful and lovely Christmas gift. I’m talking old school pen and paper here. And then, either give it to them by hand or post it – yep old school again with snail mail. 📮 Then sit back and bask in your thoughtfulness. Feels good hey? And here’s the cool thing about this task: the science backs it up. Expressing gratitude by giving a card or letter or meeting face to face, sparks off a chain reaction that has a positive impact on both giver and receiver. For the receiver, the fact that they feel appreciated encourages them to engage in further pro-social behaviour and for the giver, they joy of taking the time to acknowledge their gift makes them more inclined to give gifts themselves.
