Your first employee survey? Brace for initial negativity If you're gearing up for your first employee engagement survey, brace yourself: initial responses may lean towards the negative. Why? Because as staff are given a platform to share their views for the first time, they might unleash years of pent-up frustrations. But fear not, this is entirely normal. In fact, the views will become more balanced over the next few surveys you conduct. That is if you address identified issues, implement changes, and importantly, communicate transparently with your team about what's being done and why.
