FDA approves Donanemab for early symptomatic AD. APOE4 testing recommended, not compulsory and patients can be on anticoagulants, if I read correctly. Lots of interesting things here

Did you know that adverse drug events (ADEs) are the 4th leading cause of death in the United States? These medication-related problems can include falls, emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and potentially death. With the right information based on your DNA, many adverse drug events can be prevented.
As part of our personalized medication safety program, our clinical-grade Pharmacogenomic (PGx) Testing indicates how (and if) a policyholder will respond to a particular medication and if they are more likely to have an ADE or side effect. Our program provides insights to help a policyholder’s healthcare provider select the right medication and dosage based on the individual's DNA.
No more one medication fits all.

Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) contribute to 1 in 9 emergency department visits. Even more concerning, 1 in 3 of these are due to repeated prescriptions of the same drug. ActionADE is an application that allows providers to document and communicate standardized ADE information to prevent re-exposures to harmful medications.
“When you go to a doctor, they can generally look up all your medications. What they don’t know is if you’ve had problems with certain drugs,” shares Glen Medcalf, who experienced several adverse reactions to his diabetes medication. “ActionADE could ensure that specialists, general practitioners or hospital staff have the information needed to act quickly on your past history.”

Prescription drugs are the third most misused substance after marijuana and alcohol in teens. Many teens obtain prescription medication from family or friends because they can easily find the medications in their own home.
In 2021, 44.9% of persons aged 12 or older who misused a prescription pain reliever obtained the medication from a friend or relative. Prevent medication misuse or overdose with proper storage and disposal.
