Today is #BlackJoyFriday and we're celebrating Lewis Hamilton winning the British Grand Prix for a record ninth time 🏆 In the 945 days between his last win and this one, Hamilton said on Sunday, he had doubted himself: “The adversity we have gone through as a team and I have personally experienced,” he said, "the constant challenge, like we all have, to get out of bed every day and give it your best shot. So many times when you feel like your best shot is not good enough, and the disappointment sometimes you can feel. We live in a time when mental health is such a serious issue and I am not going to lie (and deny) that I have experienced that. #LewisHamilton #BritishGrandPrix #F1

Communicator, writer, storyteller & speechwriter, maybe? Sports & Music are my soul || I could talk days about Universe, Military, Politics, etc. | Former Infrastructure, Network, Data Center & Field Services lad.
I'll take the opportunity in which I know Manchester United staff see (and love, hopefully?) few things I share. With about 12 hours to end the season, here's a little poem, in which I'm starting writing as thoughts are coming in, with nothing but my broken phone, without planning, solely myself and my heart. Hope at least is a good one. I accept good. Share, I don't mind. Or don't. It's all okay. ❤ ---------------------------------------- "Within the "chaos" we find peace." Chaos is a word I used sometimes, to describe this rollercoaster ride, but what if indeed is the chaos, which bring passion - and INEOS. *(I had to, it came, I couldn't help it.)* Right now, feelings overflow. There's room for improvement. Lots need to be done. But if instead of chaos, there was none. There would be no apparent flaws. As they appear only at the movement, just like the canal beside the stadium, flows. It flows endlessly, Same as the love for the club. It keeps running. I am writing this by myself, solely. However, this family always keep giving. This is hope that even empty, we shall see full, the cup. Whether it's a simple cup of water, or a piece of silverware. Loyalty and hope shall never falter. Because either blue or red, it's the path walked that counts to be there. If it comes with prize or not, never forget the rollercoaster, without it, things might never change. And in a world full of lot, lot that often provides no shoulder, without it, my hardships - which are big enough to carry alone, I would never feel this warm welcome. So, I am wrapping it up with this: Be glad not all things went as planned. Without it, the reset and restart would be no special. Be glad and grateful you have endured. Because it takes guts to be a Red Devil. And loyalty is something underrated, which gives peace inside the chaos. It is the most beautiful human trait. Caio Cândido.

Consistency and discipline are fundamental elements for success at any professional team, let alone a Premier League club like Aston Villa. Today their sentencing list is going viral. For me it's a great example of how seriously the players and the coaching team take organisation and discipline. A £1,000 fine for being late to training, £200 a minute for being late on race day, and even a fine for the forgotten GPS device or clutter at the dining table. Everything matters. Every detail counts, because success is built by small daily habits. Wonder... What would a corresponding list of sentences look like in our daily working lives? Fine for any delay in an important meeting or for forgetting to follow up a client. Is consistency the secret ingredient to the top, whether it's footballers or professionals in any industry? #bussiness #passion #motivation #inspiration

D&I is always at the forefront of my mind. This week I was really lucky to attend a one hour session on the subject, the external speaker was great. Last night, I decided to go late night shopping in Leeds for some last minute holiday clothes (I fly this weekend) and I had two completely different conversations with staff in shops… 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: “This bikini is nice, are you going on holiday?” 𝗠𝗲: “Yes, I go to Monaco on Sunday” 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: “Oh! That’s where the Formula 1 takes place isn’t it? Is your husband making you go there? I bet you’re not into Formula 1” My face 🙄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: “Are you going on holiday soon?” 𝗠𝗲: “I go to Monaco on Sunday this weekend!” 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: “Oh amazing! Where they race in Formula 1? Are you a Formula 1 fan?” My face 😃 Im pretty sure the staff member in shop 1 didn’t mean any harm. The two things I wanted to point out from this was number 1, do not assume everyone is heterosexual. I do have a husband, but if I had a wife I might have taken offence to that. My advice would be to always ask, or say partner if you’re unsure. The second is do not assume people are not into certain sports (or any other subjects for that matter) Those that know me know I’m a 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 Formula 1 fan! So today, or this weekend, or next week, I ask that you keep unconscious bias at the forefront of your minds. Don’t judge people too quickly, and if you’re unsure - 𝗔𝗦𝗞! #unconsciousbias #diversity #inclusion #diversityandinclusion #Leeds #shopping #shoppingexperience #PA #EA #personalassistant #executiveassistant #F1 #formula1 #Mclaren #Mercedes #Williams #Ferrari #Redbull

Vice President of Sales 4x Sales Leader ➥ I help companies scaleup their sales by utilizing proven innovative processes to become unbeatable forces in their respective marketplaces.
I owe most of my success to the Miami Dolphins and here’s why 👇🏽 They suck. In my lifetime they have mostly sucked. So how has that helped me be successful? Being a fan of an awful team in which you can’t control the outcome does the following; 1. Drives you to work harder because you do have control at work. 2. Resilience - you’ve been tested mentally for years so when the going gets tough it’s a normal day. 3. You develop a hate to lose mentality. I’ll literally scratch and fight for a win. 4. Loyalty - Once I know I have the right team I’ll defend them, be patient and care for them like they were first gen family. I read an article years ago before the Cubs won the big one, and there were 30 years of study to back up exactly what I’m saying. They followed the journey of hundreds of Cubs fan's careers to support the data. The good news: If your team sucks, you have a better chance of succeeding in life 😎 #DolphinsSuck #salesleadership #richhitsgoals

If a Football Club is Recruiting for a Specific Position, Should They Look at Players Specifically Operating in that Position? In my opinion the answer to this question is a Resounding No!!! Let’s be more specific. Should a Club Searching for a Right Back Exclusively Look at Right Backs? A players position is often determined by a Specific Coach or the Group-Think of a Football Department. The assumption that a given Coach or Football Departments is operating at an optimum level is a mistake that should be factored into your process. Matty Cash spent a lot of his career at Nottingham Forest as an Attacking Midfielder. He’s now embedded into the Right Back Position in a good Aston Villa Team. Finally it’s also important to understand the evolution of a Player’s Position based on where he/she is in their career.
