Trust isn't just a product of meetings; It thrives in the small moments, the hallway chats, the coffee breaks - all the seemingly ordinary interactions that add up over time. But here's the challenge: In a virtual environment, these moments are scarce. No pre-meeting chats, no coffee catch-ups. So, what's the solution? As our conference rooms have expanded into virtual spaces, we must create opportunities for connection. Whether it's a quick message to share thoughts, a virtual lunch break, or even a scheduled moment to discuss non-work matters, these planned interactions can fill the void left by the absence of informal chats. While the magic of face-to-face encounters can't be perfectly replicated, there's value in these artificial gestures. They bring back the human touch, fostering understanding, empathy, and trust. What are your thoughts on building trust in virtual environments? Have you tried any creative strategies within your teams? Share your experiences and insights below! 👇

What makes us different? Technology has certainly made it easier to build relatationships virtually. But we are a busienss who invest in being present. Boots on the ground in all the key markets/geographies we serve. 4 offices in the US. 5 across Europe. We can't be in every city. But those cities we aren't in where our clients are, we visit them. Regularly. We attend conferences. Regularly. Does that make us heroes? Of course not. But that investment of time and money in to relationships gives you some insight to what we stand for. It's easy to sit in the office and let Zoom/Teams take you there and of course, we use those tools, too. But we feel you have to make the effort. That will never change.

What technology solution has pleasantly surprised you lately? I am increasingly asked for technology advice so am doing more training and research to ensure I can benefit my clients. As I’ve been doing this work, I’ve been impressed by a range of solutions but a big shout out to Zoom. During COVID, my first impression was they offered a handy and available video solution that helped us connect. Today, they offer solutions that help organizations run communications at scale, with Zoom Meeting, Events, Phone, Chat and Rooms. The capabilities, especially Rooms, are amazing and will help organisations manage and reduce costs, and provide superior experiences. Comment below on the technology solution that have surprised you lately! #unifiedcommunications #ucaas #technology #zoom

In the last three years, our society fully embraced the digital screens that connect us. While Zoom meetings have their merits, there's an irreplaceable magic when we come together in person. That's why I'm bursting with excitement for the year ahead: - In January, we're gathering in Cleveland. - February brings us to Las Vegas. - In March, we convene in Columbus. - April, we'll meet in the heart of Chicago. And this is just the beginning... There's something uniquely powerful about face-to-face interactions, the energy, and connections that happen when we're in the same room. It's these moments that inspire, drive innovation, and forge lasting relationships. I can't wait to embrace the opportunities and experiences that await us in the year ahead! #2024vision #facetofacemeetings #BusinessGrowth
