I just returned from the #ANAmasters conference, feeling energized and inspired. This was my first time attending the GLOBAL CMO GROWTH COUNCIL, and I'm excited to help shape the future of marketing alongside over 250 CMOs from around the world. One enduring truth emerged: impactful marketing puts the customer at the center. It’s about truly understanding the person behind the buyer, rather than viewing them merely as a means to achieve a KPI. To do this effectively, organizations must treat customer insights as an essential part of their toolkit. As marketing leaders, our role is to champion the value of customer insights and to show how we use this knowledge to create meaningful, measurable work that drives business outcomes. And what about AI? Unsurprisingly, AI was also a major topic of discussion. Companies are at different stages of their AI journey, and our team is taking a thoughtful approach—evaluating and testing specific solutions. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by AI, but the key is to start with targeted use cases and build from there. These bursts of learning and collaboration are invigorating, and it's wonderful to share these experiences with some of the leaders from the HUB International Marketing team.
