Watch now to learn more: https://lnkd.in/evGdhUh5 For more details on Triple Point Venture VCT, experienced investors can head to https://lnkd.in/e8JbWRHq. IMPORTANT: The opinions expressed in this video are the interviewee’s own and do not necessarily reflect the view of Wealth Club Limited. This interview, like our service, is not advice and the products featured are not suitable for everyone. VCTs are higher risk and less liquid than mainstream investments. You could lose your capital. I help your business or not-for-profit get clarity💡, get direction 🧭, get noticed 📣 and create impact 🚀
Mind blown. This is impressive and expansive watching. I would love to know what my LI friends think of this. Watch, take notes 📝 and tell me your take outs - we can compare notes! 1. A model for thinking about the high level phases we must move through and some of the conceptual barriers we must break through to get to net generative, positive impact to nature 2. A nice simple economic reasoning to propel the effectiveness of disruption (productivity leverage) - using the energy of capitalism to move past it 3. A ‘tech bro’ describing the challenge of shifting a western worldview of valuing things as nouns (inputs - entirely currently created from mined or grown compounds) to verbs (ecological systems that generate everything we need) - and giving a great example of how indigenous worldviews inherently operate in the ‘verb’ modality - and the wisdom and opportunity ahead if we only honoured indigenous traditions and practices. Absolute stonker this interview - get comfy and dive in, you won’t regret it…
A rare interview with the formidable Tom Chi, founding partner of At One Ventures, which seeks to “catalyze a world where humanity is a net positive to nature.” Tom discusses the "three epochs of ecological technologies", and how his approach to venture capital is to disrupt the industries doing the most damage to nature. Watch it now: https://lnkd.in/gV74h-2B

“We are not just looking for companies that ‘do no harm’ or ‘have no negative impact’, or those that occasionally influence some sector of life or challenge. We value those that drive lasting and positive societal changes through innovative projects and decisive actions. Hence, our collaboration with Plan Be Eco is a crucial step, enabling us not only to measure our carbon footprint but also to develop a CO₂ emission reduction strategy in the upcoming years. It aligns perfectly with our deeply-rooted ‘deep green’ approach and investment philosophy, pointing towards a more sustainable future,” explains Krzysztof Grochowski, Managing Partner of Simpact Ventures. Mastering the art of deep due diligence is vital for the success of a venture studio such as ours. We have achieved this through a combination of excellent methodology and expertise. This is why our portfolio companies excel. Along with our ongoing support and mentoring, it is also why we are able to create high IRRs, and cut the average time it takes for seed stage start-ups to receive Series A. If you would like to know more about our work, do send us a message. Refael (Rafi) Chen | Liat Mazor #art #duediligence #climatech #impactinvesting #venturestudio #venturecapital #Sustainability

Last April, USV joined the Venture Climate Alliance (VCA), a group of venture capital firms committed to achieving a rapid transition to net zero greenhouse gas emissions. We have worked with the VCA to develop a framework that startups in our portfolios may use to begin working toward that goal. We are acutely aware of the many challenges that face young companies. We are committed to reducing that burden wherever we can. That said, we believe it is important to do what we can as a firm to move toward net zero, and to help those portfolio companies that share that belief to develop a plan, identify easy wins, and start down that road. We hope the Venture Climate Alliance can be a clearinghouse for ideas and a resource for venture firms and their portfolio companies that are committed to putting their shoulder to the wheel to address the climate crisis.
