Latvia boasts talented individuals in #science and #business, and the bravest among them enhance the competitiveness of our technologies and identify global markets. 🙌 📜 Naturally, these enterprising Latvian talents require a #roadmap for growing science-intensive companies, which is primarily crafted by knowledgeable state specialists. We are compiling a list of #investors and supporters and exploring ways to support future #technology development. The good news is that we are not alone in this endeavor! Through a seminar at the Deep Tech Atelier 2024 conference, we engaged research #organizations, industry #experts, #startups, #government representatives, technology enthusiasts, and investors to refine this roadmap. 💡 The main question was, how can we ensure state support for developing science-intensive technologies at every stage, that is: Initial laboratory prototype ➡️ the final product tested in a business environment ➡️ achieving stable production and, ultimately, the expected profit. During the seminar, led by Egita Aizsilniece-Ibema, our Head of the Latvian Innovation and Technology Representation in Brussels, we actively discussed the issues and sought possible solutions, which we now wish to share more broadly.
