We’re revved up to announce that we’re the first official partner of the future Audi F1 Project factory team in #F1! 🏎️ Under this new sponsorship and technical collaboration, along with our specialist lubricants business Castrol, we'll help deliver Audi’s ambition to combine #Technology and #Innovation to achieve maximum performance at the pinnacle of #Motorsport. And we’re not starting from scratch – we’ve had a long and successful joint history in motorsport that started in the 1980s. Drive into the detail: on.bp.com/4bEo3w9

I thought bp pulled out of motor sport racing sponsorships years ago for reasons associated with road safety optics? 🤔

I am genuinely surprised that organisations like Audi F1 Project has not done their homework on bp and decided to postpone relationships pending further clarity on the bp pensions scandal. There are so many layers in this scandal that will show up a lack of morals and integrity in the company today, even MPs have referred to bp as morally bankrupt, and much worse from US courts. This goes far beyond the topic of pensions and touches on bp’s intent to cause real harm to vulnerable firmer colleagues. It cannot get much worse than that. Open your eyes, read about the scandal and then decide which side of justice you stand. #bp #BPpensions #CodeofConduct #Formula1 #Motorsport #Technology #Innovation #NotMyBp

Audi F1 Project are you aware that bp has chosen to renege on cost of living rises for UK pensioners? 'Morally bankrupt'

Gordon Leslie

Happily retired not looking for paid employment - might consider voluntary work but very much on a part-time basis.

The BP PR machine continues to try to promote all the positive sides to the company. BUT what it never mentions is BP's refusal to engage with its UK Pensioners Action Group in any way at all. Yet again this year the company has refused to award its 58,000 UK Pensioners a very modest additional cost of living increase proposed by the Pension Fund Trustees. It's not as if the Fund can't afford it. But both the current CEO Murray Auchincloss and his predecessor Bernard Looney did very well out of their annual remuneration packages. #bppensions

bp - more boring 'sports washing'. bp continues to disappoint and renege. No trust. No honesty.

Are Audi F1 Project and #F1 aware of bp's track record with pensioners? Denying cost-of-living pension increases for 60,000 former employees? Would they want to associate with such behaviour? Find out more about the UK bp Pensions Dispute here: bppensionergroup.org #BPPensions #ageism

I hope AUDI AG is aware that by accepting sponsorship from a company that is so untrustworthy that even its own pensioners can’t rely on it to keep its promises, Audi will be picking up fewer supporters and may also lose some customers. #BrokenPromises
