Vehicle powered with hydrogen fuel cells includes a reverse electrolysis process wherein hydrogen reacts with oxygen, thus producing electricity to power electric motors along with heat and water. The heat & water generated during this process exits through the exhaust as water vapor, thereby leading to zero or no emission. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles utilize a hydrogen fuel cell to power their on-board electric motor. Hydrogen is used to operate a hydrogen fuel cell to generate electricity through electrolysis. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles possess high potential to reduce emissions related to the transportation sector. This vehicle does not generate any greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions during vehicle operation unlike diesel-powered and gasoline vehicles. As we celebrate #HydrogenWeek, we wanted to share a trio of #fuelcell facts that illustrate how this technology has the power to redefine zero-emission mobility. - Increased range and quick refuelling enable fuel cell powered applications to see greater efficiencies and uptime compared to their battery alternatives. Fuel cell powered #UAVs fly up to 5 times further and the refuelling process for #cars is as convenient as filling up with petrol or diesel. - Hydrogen fuel cells are a clean and efficient source of electricity as they simply combine #hydrogen with oxygen from the air to generate power. - Within the fuel cell family, #PEM fuel cells display the highest power densities making them particularly attractive for transportation and portable applications where minimum size and weight are required. Stay tuned as we share further hydrogen insights this week. 🚚💨 Introducing Australia's First Commercial Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck 🌟 Big news in the world of sustainable transport: "Taurus," Australia's first hydrogen fuel cell prime mover truck, has been launched. This development marks a significant milestone for Australia's hydrogen economy and the global push towards cleaner transportation. 🔋 Hydrogen trucks, like the Taurus, are emerging as a superior alternative to traditional diesel and even electric trucks for long-haul transport. With a higher energy density, hydrogen trucks can store more energy, making them ideal for longer distances. Plus, they are less sensitive to colder temperatures where the batteries' range is reduced. 🛣️ The Taurus is a hydrogen fuel cell prime mover with a range of 600 kilometres and the ability to haul up to 70 tons, it's built for the long haul. Its quick refuelling time and extended range address two critical challenges in heavy-duty transport, making it a more practical clean power solution than its electric counterparts. 🌍 At Hy2gen, we're excited to see such innovations paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future in transportation. The Taurus truck is a prime example of how hydrogen technology can revolutionise an industry, and we're proud to be part of this journey. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eaxDWrZP #renewablehydrogen #hy2gen #greenhydrogen #transport #future #truck #fuelcell

CleanTechnica reveals that it has a policy of censuring any news about small and medium hydrogen vehicles and then proceeds to break it in order to make fun of research into hydrogen motorcycles. Remarkable for a media outlet that claims to deliver its readers "the latest in cleantech news" Perhaps they should be more precise "the latest in cleantech news that aligns with the bias of our editors" #hydrogen #hydrogeneconomy #decarbonization https://lnkd.in/eg_DqXzU

A few few years ago people were talking about hydrogen lorries. Now they're here. Progress still needed to properly incentivise & facilitate fueling infrastructure but progress made. Hy2gen and others are busy developing numerous facilities that will clean fuel planes, ships and other currently polluting transport forms. How supportive the regulatory framework is (eg how strongly ship owners are incentivised to transition to clean fuels) will directly determine how quickly these clean fuel facilities begin their work cleaning our planet! How does your local politician see us weaning from carbon? Ask him or her! Did you understand her/ his answer? Did he or she understand?!

If 2023 has been the year of electric mobility gathering momentum, 2024, say industry observers, will essentially be about laying the groundwork for broad-basing India’s engagement with alternative fuel - particularly hydrogen. Some enabling action by both the government and the automotive industry was already seen in this calendar, which is expected to evolve into developing the base infrastructure and policy support in the coming year.

【Silver Medal at “International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2024” - Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Electric Off-grid Genset】 Everyone has heard of Hydrogen, but have you ever Google the word “Hydrogen” ? Hydrogen energy, Hydrogen power generation, Hydrogen -powered electric vehicles, and even the Hydrogen economy all show the significant importance of Hydrogen in our global development. Last week, we introduced our “Smart Autonomous EV Charging Robot” to you. This time, let's introduce the “Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Electric Off-grid Genset” that won the Silver Medal at this year's “International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2024”! This genset uses Hydrogen as its energy source and converts Hydrogen energy into electricity to charge electric vehicles. The entire process only produces a small amount of heat and water, without emitting any pollutants or greenhouse gases. Moreover, this genset can be operated off-grid, so it can be used as a mobile power source in off-grid areas, areas with emission limitation, or even Industrial site to provide power and fast charging for electric vehicles!
