Ms. Onneetse Ndadi, Business& ESG Consultant, Sustainabiz Consulting gave an expansive view of ESGs in her masterclass titled “ESG Considerations for Organizations.” Ms. Ndadi discussed how companies can align their operations with global sustainability goals, drive positive social impact, and enhance long-term value creation. Ndadi dissected each letter, unpacking not only the considerations to be made, but the benefits to be reaped following implementation, and how to measure and manage impact, punctuating each with living examples. Most eye-opening was Ndadi’s assessment of cultural Setswana practices such as thatching and drying meat as examples of ESGs in practice. "One way or the other we have been practicing ESGs,” she quipped.
