A new partnership between Radnor Hills, the official water supplier for multiple DP World Tour golf tournaments, and Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP) has occurred and from this partnership a bespoke ‘infinitely recyclable’ canned water has been produced. Tyre Stewardship Australia has recently partnered with Trace to measure and manage our scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions, and we're proud to announce that we're officially a carbon-neutral organisation. At Tyre Stewardship Australia, we are committed to reducing the environmental harm of used tyres and we are committed to taking responsibility for the carbon emissions we generate. Measuring our carbon footprint year on year is vital for us to manage and reduce our emissions effectively. With Trace, we’ve offset scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions produced in the last financial year through investing in Gold standard or Verra Verified carbon standard (VCS) certified projects. We recognise that offsetting is just part of the journey and are actively working towards reducing our emissions. We have also incorporated sustainability guidelines into our operations, and are increasing awareness of the impact our choices have on our emissions. Polyolefins – ubiquitous little things It's the most widely used family of #plastics, in fact, meaning that they have to be taken into consideration in the shift to a #circulareconomy. Polyolefin Circular Economy Platform (PCEP) brings together all the links in the European #polyolefin value chain (brand owners, retailers, waste management organisations, recyclers, converters and producers) and they all want to see this system go circular. The PCEP 2024 Annual Conference - Bridging the Gap: Collaborating for Circular Polyolefins will take place on 6 June at The Hotel Brussels, with a gala dinner on 5 June. The conference will explore the challenges which must be addressed if Europe is to switch to a circular economy and have a net zero future. Belgium stands as a shining example of what's achievable in glass collection and recycling, demonstrating that a 100% glass collection for recycling rate and closing the glass loop completely is indeed within reach.    Thanks to Victor Biettlot for explaining how Fost Plus is at the forefront of these efforts, driving promotion, coordination, and financial support for the selective collection, sorting, and recycling of household packaging waste in Belgium, setting a high standard for sustainability in the whole of Europe.♻️ 🍾 As we can see from our figures, 63% of the inputs of Glass Cullet Recycling Facilities in Belgium come from municipal waste. Meaning that managing household waste is vital for the closed loop in Belgium.
