My thoughts on primary factors,
1. Management. In a recent 2023 survey done by the Pew Research Center, 62% of people that answered "Yes" when being asked if they are happy at work said their bosses make them happy and create an environment that allows them to be productive without being overbearing.
2. Product. Genuine belief in your product or service is vital for success when in sales. Selling cyber-security means you are providing a needed solution for customers that protects their business (livelihood) from ransomware hackers. Hard not to get behind that!

I would like to thank Dynamic Global Events (DGE) for inviting me to join the panel at the 12th Advancing Women’s Leadership for Pharma & Healthcare Conference. Speaking about work / life harmony, reality, balance. Whatever you choose to call it we need more of it.
Finding ways to coordinate the two which helps you to grow in your professional life while also managing your personal life. I have chosen 3 days as my work late days and 2 days as my catch up or education days. This may not work for everyone but however you break out your work week to harmonize work/life.
Something I believe we as women need to do more of is negotiate, at work, with our partners wherever and let go of the small stuff. If someone does anything for you, it is okay if it is not done as you would like...it is done, and you do not have to do it. As the song says, “let it go, let it go”!
I learned so much this past week, and everyone’s story or message resonates with me. I leave you with a final song “Feelings, nothing more than Feelings.” Those of you who attended will know what this means. TTFN

Of all our achievements at Flock Consulting, this one stands out as one of the best.
When I started Flock five and a half years ago, my main goal was to create a workplace where people loved coming to work.
Before that, I had worked in toxic environments where staff were merely seen as tools for income, and customers were not viewed as long-term partners. One day, I decided that instead of constantly complaining to my wife, I should take action. That's when Flock was born.
From the beginning, I knew we needed to build everything around a strong set of values and a positive culture. These principles drive everything we do, both internally and externally. They shape how we work together as a team and how we engage with our customers.
I firmly believe that a happy team that enjoys their work leads to happy customers through the high quality of work driven by a passion to always do our best.
To me, this is not rocket science, yet I still see many toxic environments and leaders who haven't realised that true leadership doesn't come from creating a toxic workplace.
