By 2040, an estimated 28% of China's population will be over 60 years old. Because of its low birth rate, it is becoming one of the world’s fastest ageing populations. Michael Lam, Managing Director of APAC, BSI, believes that by acting right now, China will have the opportunity to maintain its competitiveness in the future age-diverse workforce by focusing on: ⚫ Skill upkeep and training ⚫ Lifetime learning ⚫ Improving health and well-being People will be working for longer and multiple age groups will be working together. Couldn't agree more on what you have said, Michael. Organizations today regardless of sizes need to embrace inclusively and diversely. Top management have to walk the talk to make it happen.
